Managing Director

With nearly three decades of experience in insights training, Jim is a driving force at Burke Institute. As the Managing Director, he excels in moderating, data visualization, effective communication, and transforming insights into actionable strategies through compelling storytelling. 

His extensive background in consulting and educating clients on both qualitative and quantitative research projects has taken him across the globe. He has successfully led hundreds of customized client programs, both internationally and domestically, and is a sought-after speaker at industry conferences and trade shows.  

Before joining Burke Institute, Jim directed a marketing and insights team at a pioneering computer software start-up, where he played a key role in launching innovative products for both B2B and consumer markets. Additionally, he has experience in the financial services sector, having worked in the brokerage division of a major firm. 

Jim’s passion for industry education and his ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights make him an invaluable resource for marketing research and insight professionals looking to elevate their strategies and drive impactful results. 

Jim is a global educator! He’s traveled to 20+ countries to share his knowledge of marketing research and insights best practices.
